Trips to Catskills resorts — Hunter, Windham and Belleayre are the only ones with regular service — run about $80 for transportation and lift ticket (rental gear is extra). Similar trips are also run by ZogSports, a charity-minded social club (http://comfort-ski.com), for $90 and up. You can also catch the Adirondack Trailways bus from Port Authority to Belleayre for $81 (lift ticket and beginner lesson included), or make it a multiday excursion for $170 and up, hotel included.
But the Comfort Bus Ski resorts — Okemo, Stratton and Mount Snow, all of which put the Catskills slopes to shame — represent the best bargains: $89.95 for transportation and lift ticket. By comparison, lift tickets alone run $75 at Mount Snow, $77 at Okemo and $79 at Stratton.
